My Hopes and Dreams They Flash, Then Pass
Before I Grasp Them…
As if someone ran away with a diluted scene from my conscious stream
🎉 Wholeness, Oneness lost to temporary moments of isolated revelry for a few.

I’ve seen how you hold me down underground!
Then come around and say “rise and abound?”
Only to be sent back down!
I refuse, It’s abuse, overuse; the length of time I’ve been silenced and held down.

Now sequestered, my dreams are realized by others
Smothered, I smolder, while thoughts of planning another, or us together fade to gray.
I’d prefer not to stay, but if I must, I refuse to hide away.
I WILL SCREAM OUT LOUD IN FRONT OF ANY CROWD I CHOOSE.
…Until My Hopes and Dreams All LAST
even if you choose to pass on me, on eternal love
